Education for
Earth and Soul
How do we grow together the capacities to respond
to the great challenges of our time?
If we surrendered to Earth's intelligence, we could rise up rooted, like trees.

Cultivating Resilience
A four-week live online course
Staying grounded and connected in a changing world
Starting May 29, 2025
-
How do you feel when you hear of events happening in the world?
-
What do you notice within yourself?
-
Are you offering your full potential to the world as you see it?
How can we be grounded and respond wisely in an ever-changing world?
I want to invite you into a collaborative experience that will transform the way you engage with the world.

How do we align our lives with the life of Earth?
The purpose of this school is to grow together the capacities needed to sense and respond to the great challenges of our time.
We learn together how to ground within, to sense and relate with the world as it is and to contribute creative responses from within our own inner ground. We value spiritual practice as a resource that allows us to respond wisely to the world as it is. We approach responsibility in the world as a central element of spiritual practice.
We recognize the inner world and the outer world as mirrors of each other. We need to include the outer world to have a grounded spiritual practice. We need to have strong inner presence to relate wisely with the world. Our inner world and our outer world are two intertwined threads of our spiritual practice.
If you feel inspired, join us.

Man follows Earth.
Earth follows the universe.
The universe follows the Tao.
The Tao follows only itself.

Our work is fundamentally about bridging our sense of the world with our capacity to respond.
The Earth doesn't need saving. It needs our presence.
-
Are you touched by the loss of species, the harms of colonialism, the changing climate, or the seeming intensifying of conflict between countries?
-
Do you long for a place to sense and make sense of these events?
-
Do you feel your spiritual practice and your engagement with the world are one?
-
Are you committed to have an impact in what Earth Elder Joanna Macy calls “the Great Turning”?
Our work has four specific and interconnected elements:

Who this work is for
-
You have a strong desire to impact the world
-
You are touched by the impacts of colonialism, climate change, and other global patterns
-
You want to have agency to respond wisely to the world as you see it
-
You want to be part of a community that is dedicated to bridging spiritual practice and care for the Earth

At its core, this is Earth mysticism, directly experiencing the Earth as sacred.
The soul grows by being rooted in the Earth.
When we are rooted in the Earth, we can develop into truly mature human beings. When we feel the primal experience of sacredness with Earth, we realise we are at home here.

Aligning
our lives with the intelligence of
the Earth.
As an education center, we assume:
-
Earth is intelligent and has her own creative drive
-
One significant way her intelligence is expressed is through human creativity
-
Earth values increasing conscious awareness
-
Conscious human action – aligned with a sense of care for the Earth as the larger whole we are part of – is one way Earth heals and matures
Your desire to care for the Earth is an expression of Earth’s creativity. Your love for the Earth is Earth’s self-love.
We are like cells of the Earth waking up to our belonging within this magnificent web of life we are part of. This is what it means to be truly at home here on Earth. This is what it means to belong.
What clients say about my work
What is rooted is easy to nourish.
What is recent is easy to correct.
What is brittle is easy to break.
What is small is easy to scatter.
Prevent trouble before it arises.
Put things in order before they exist.
The giant pine tree grows from a tiny sprout.
The journey of a thousand miles starts from beneath your feet.
